Unknown symbol appears when exporting.

When I export an artboard I get a little square parentheses looking thing with lines in it. What is it? If I click it it changes the picture colors or quality? Will this little symbol print when I take it to fedex? I don't know how to get rid of it.

Where are you seeing this? In the app you're using to view the photo after exporting? I'm guessing it's part of the app. Show us a screen shot and tell us what app you're using to view.
