What is the future looking like for Illustrator on the iPad??

There are sooo many functions that are basic on the desktop but still not on the iPad even after YEARS of requests and votes, etc.

 

I had envisioned the use of the iPad to contact clients and make revisions on the spot with out the need for a full blown computer system to back me up.  These past few years of waiting have been very disappointing. 

 

Warp/Envelope tools for example. critical in my line of work...still waiting.  There just isn't any support for the furtherance of this platform anymore with Adobe.  Affinity though continues to move forward.
