인디자인 버전은 21.5.1 입니다.

어제까지는 아무 이상 없이 사용하고 있었는데, 오늘 갑자기 인디자인에서 책을 열면 책에 추가된 문서의 내용에 아무것도 없는 경우만 괜찮고 문서를 추가하면 충돌이 일어나 인디자인이 종료됩니다.

Yes. So far, the features I use while working on my current projects do not appear to have any issues in InDesign 21.4.1 and earlier versions.

I have been working without any problems so far. However, considering the possibility of other issues, I installed and am currently using version 21.2.

21.5.1 버전에서 ‘한글이 있는 폴더명’일 경우 북을 열거나 연결 및 저장 시 다운 현상이 있습니다.

21.5 버전부터 현상 있으며, 21.4.1 버전에서는 이상 없습니다.

Hi @Lee+Seok, thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry you're experiencing these crashes, especially since the Book workflow was working correctly for you previously.

To help us isolate this on InDesign 21.5.1, please first create two new simple INDD documents and a new Book (.indb), save everything locally, and check whether adding those documents to the Book causes a crash. If that works, create another new Book and add your existing INDD documents one at a time to identify whether a particular document triggers the issue. If you identify one, export that document as IDML, reopen it, save it as a new INDD, and try adding it to the Book again. If even a completely new Book with new documents crashes, please try resetting InDesign preferences/cache and temporarily disabling any third-party plug-ins(test in safe mode: Win: https://adobe.ly/3SB646v, macOS: https://adobe.ly/4xWzc78), then retest.

Also, when InDesign crashes, do you see the Adobe Crash Reporter dialog? If so, please submit the crash report and send me the email address used to submit it via DM, so we can check the crash logs. Ref: Submit InDesign crash reports.

Please let us know the results, particularly whether a completely new Book with new local documents also crashes.

I have already tried every method I could try on my own, including relaunching InDesign after quitting, rebooting my PC, launching while holding down Shift + Ctrl + Alt, and uninstalling and then reinstalling the same version.

It has only been two months since I formatted my PC and did a clean install of Windows 11.
No additional plug-ins are installed in InDesign.
I believe this is beyond what an individual user can diagnose.

Because of compatibility with a previously saved InDesign user settings file, I reinstalled every version from 21.2 to 21.5 one by one.
I didn't remember which version I had saved the user settings from, and I was only able to load the user settings after installing 21.5.

After checking, the problem occurs only in 21.5.1.
It is not an issue with a specific file, but an issue that occurs in a specific version.
I have already submitted crash reports several times through the crash report dialog.

I was late to think of rolling back to a previous version, and I ended up wasting a lot of time because of this issue.
I can only blame myself for foolishly not turning off automatic updates in advance.
