17.1 Crashes - Not functional. I tried resetting. It worked for about 20 minutes and crashed.

The top announcement here says 17.2 is available but it is not in the USA at least.

WTH is going on with Adobe these days?

Hello - sorry for  your issues

However, you haven't shared exactly what is happening so it makes the help in return a little bit generic

There has to be something local on your machine causing the issue.

It would be great if you could share your system specs:

RAM

Graphics Card

HD Space

Operating system

17.2 is rolling out - but it's not available everywhere yet.

If 17.1 is not behaving you can Rollback to a previous InDesign version
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html#:~:text=Open%20the%20Creative%20Cloud%20desktop,down%20list%2C%20select%20Other%20Versions.

----------------------

However, before you do that

Try resetting your preferences:
The easiest way to reset everything is to delete the InDesign preferences: as soon as InDesign starts to boot hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl (and Apple/Cmd if working on a Macintosh). A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

Reinstalling rarely fixes everything - you can do a complete reinstall using the
Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

If you can share more details we can help further.
