Updates are typically rolled out regionally. I don't have one yet for InDesign or the InDesign pre-release, yet. That said, I'm sticking with Ventura until we get the all-clear. It seems we are at mostly-clear with Sonoma 14.3.

In the meanwhile: The release version of InDesign 2024 Version 19.2 is rolled out in a phased manner.

It's a general conclusion that Sonoma problems should be fixed by Apple. Many users report that the recently released macOS 14.3 solved InDesign problems for them. But some users report it didn't make a difference.

I'm mostly a Windows user, but also own a Mac Mini. So far, updates of the Mac had no impact on softwares I use, because Adobe's tools are not installed. What I wonder: can an update to Sonoma be considered as switching from Windows 10 to 11, where such kind of problems are kind of expected?

Because I read that kinda often here in the forum that updates to a major new version of MacOS cause problems with Adobe's tools while I almost never read or heard such happening when someone uses Windows 10 and installs Windows 10 updates.
