I never had this happen before but I am copy and pasting translated text from Word to InDesign and instead of the copy I am getting 2 orange triangles whose tips face each other.  Does anyone know why this is happening? I can type the informtaion in and they do not show up. However, I do not want to have to type all the translations in. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sandy:

That's a note.  You can read more about it here: https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/adding-editorial-notes-indesign.html.

If you click next to it and tap Ctrl/Cmd Y, you will open Story Editor and will be able to read the contents. Ctrl/Cmd Y a second time will return you to your layout view. You can also view notes with Window > Editorial > Notes . There is a trash can at the bottom if you want to throw it away.

Robert is probably right. Looks like someone added a note to the file in InDesign, based on the list he provided.
