2023 InDesign issue with K4 plug in

Hi there,

 

I am using InDesign with the K4 plug in but whenever I try to use the plug in I get an error saying "Adobe InDesign is shutting down. A serious error was detected. Please restart InDesign to recover work in any unsaved InDesign documents" I restart InDesign, launch the K4 plug in and the issue keeps me in a constant loop.

 

I am not sure how to fix this as I already unstalled, re-installed the app, and the issue persists.

 

Also, I am not able to disable the K4 plug in as I need it for my workflow.

 

I am using 2023 version of InDesign and unfortunately all of the articles related to this issue are over 10 years old.

 

Any help is appreciated!

I'd suggest you take it up with the plugin developer (vjoon?)

 

It could be a change in InDesign that no longer meshes with the plugin, or an actual bug or fault somewhere, but only the developer is going to be able to fix it or meaningfully guide you to a solution.
