Question

3-em dashes in bibliographies

The Chicago Manual of Style requires bibliographic entries of the same author as the preceding one to use a 3-em dash followed by a period to act as placeholder. I cannot find a way of getting InDesign to create this except to put three em dashes in a row then turn the tracking on them to -100, which essentially eliminates the spaces between them. Any other ideas?
