5000 hyperlinks at once?

I need to make over 5000 hyperlinks.

Text string starts with A and after that there is 6 numbers, like A123456 it should go to URL "https://examplesite.com/#!code= A123456".

Can I use find command to make all to hyperlinks at once? I know I can find them by using wildcards A^9^9^9^9^9^9" but I can't figure out how to make them a hyperlinks at once. It takes ages to make it one by one

Thanks a lot!

Mikko

This can be done by a script.

Here's a script I wrote for a similar situation. It's not clear to me if you have the whole URL, or only text like A123456 in your file. If the latter, you probably have a sort of 'database' file -- txt/csv/Excel/Access/etc. -- mapping names to URLs. In this case, this script may come in handy to you.

Have you tried:

Type > Hyperlinks & Cross-references > Convert URLs to Hyperlinks?

It does not work. They are not URLs but text with style. See screen capture:

All those bolded underlined text should be hyperlinks.

Hi Mikko.

You posted your question in the non-technical Lounge forum, which is where you can connect with your peers for conversations that don't directly relate to product help and support. Let us know what application you are asking about (for example, Acrobat, InDesign, Dreamweaver), and we’ll move your question to the appropriate forum so that you can get the answer you are looking for.
