A4 size in InDesign showing 210.787 mm x 298.114 mm

Hi

I’ve resently updated to InDesign 16.2.1 and the size for an A4 document is showing as 210.787 mm x 298.114 mm which I find very odd and frastrating. We all know it should be 210x297mm

See attached screengrab

Just wonderingif there is a fix to it.

thanks

Angelos

Hi angelos1974,

what does the "legacy" New Document dialog show?

You can enable that in the InDesign Preferences.

You are on Mac OS.

I cannot see the issue with my German InDesign 2021 version 16.2.1.102 on Windows 10 Pro.

Not in the legacy New Document dialog or in the "regular" New Document dilaog.

Reset your InDesign preferences.

Launch InDesign  and quickly do the following

Restore all preferences and default settings
  1. (Windows) Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
  2. (Mac OS) While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
