Access to old files

Hi.

I've been working on a 'book' in Indesign. Unfortunately, my laptop/mac died. 

On my new laptop I downloaded the Indesign app expecting my files to be accessed in cloud storage, but I can't seem to find it (the storage and therefore the files). I'm not exactly proficient and would generally be regarded as a beginner.

(I've tried Adobe helpdesk chat but they just say to call back in normal hours....but won't say when those hours are!)

Any guidance would be greatly received.
