Accessing Object Meta Data from an Object

Is it possible via script to port meta data like Description and Keyboards from an picture frame to a text frame? Barring, that to just copy the select meta data so I can simply past it into the frame? Dealing with a lot of pictures and data, the workflow is killing me.
