Las últimas versiones de Indesign tienen muchos fallos a la hora de importar textos.

Tengo que trabajar con versiones anteriores.

La versión es la 20.4.1 x64, creo que es la última, porque tengo actualizaciones automáticas, voy a intentar hacer menos vaga mi explicación, que si es verdad que era muy generalizada.

Importo un documento Word, porque los ".odt" no existen para indesign, será politica de empresa, rara vez lo hace correctamente, o sea con sus cursivas, negritas, etc. Con lo cual pasamos a copiar y pegar, que eso si lo podemos hacer con ".odt", ésta es la forma que utilizo ultimamente, pero esta última versión me da también problemas copiando y pegando, hasta el punto, que ciertos archivos word no había forma de que lo hiciera en condiciones por lo que se me ocurrió pasarlos a pdf, y desde éste exportarlos a word, entonces si lo hizo correctamente. Quizás estén dañados los archivos, por eso lo he expuesto en este foro por si le ocurre a alguién más. Adjunto muestras, donde se puede ver que textos en cursiva los subraya, los tacha y los sombrea y pone en cursiva lo que no la tiene. Que conste que trabajo en esto desde Page Maker, he tocado las opciones de importación y las preferencias del portapapeles.

Thank you so much for sharing these detailed screenshots and explaining the steps you've taken. I'm really sorry to hear how frustrating this has been.

I understand you're on version 20.4.1 and have already checked import options and clipboard preferences. Could you please confirm which operating system you're using as well? Also, does this happen with all Word or LibreOffice files or only certain ones?

In the meantime, I recommend trying to save your source document as a clean .docx file (avoiding .odt completely) and then importing it into InDesign using 'Place' rather than copy-paste. While placing, make sure "Show Import Options" is enabled so you can control style mapping and preserve local formatting like italics and bold.

If the issue persists, try resetting InDesign preferences as a next step. Reference: https://adobe.ly/4l8GHBP. Just make sure to back up your current settings before resetting.

If possible, could you also share one sample Word file and the .indd file where this happens? That would really help us understand exactly what's going on and pass it along to the team if needed.
