Hi all,

I have a client that wants to use the 'Publish online' feature to host their document. However they have some content that is for internal use only so are asking if there is any further security or way of 'hiding' the document provided by Adobe...i'm guessing not but any advice would be great.

Thanks

If it needs to be secure, don't use it. It's highly unlikely that anyone without the URL will stumble on it but there's no guarantee either.

If you want to use the same document more securely, then I recommend looking into in5.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I thought. We initially planned to just create an interactive PDF but they want to host their private videos on an intranet, so this wouldn't work. If we used IN5 would the output be able to be placed so that only internal users could access it by some form of authentication?

Yes. There's a free trial.

Download it and give it a whirl. The support is fabulous and it's continually updated. I can't recommend it enough.
