Adding search bar to interactive pdf

Hi Everyone,

I am working on an injtercative pdf to help onboard our companies new employees.  The interactive pdf will have an org chart as well as bios for our employees.  I would like the user to be able to enter a name in a serach bar in the pdf and the pdf would then navigate to the page with the bio.  I was thinking it could be simply creating a Ctrl-F box in the pdf in InDesign but I have yet to find the functionality.  Is this possible?

I believe the answer marked correct in this previous post applies here: just let the readers of the document use Acrobat's Find field:

If the PDF is opened with the PDF viewer of e.g. a browser like Firefox, the user can do the search with the browser's search functionality. E.g. by invoking it with Ctrl + F on a Windows machine or Cmd + F on a Mac.
