Adobe font colors not matching

I've updated to Indesign 17.0 and I've noticed my font colour doesnt match the colour of other elements/objects color. 

 

Please see screen recording below.

 

 

Any idea whats up?

Hi @Bacevs If your background red is from a placed image or or AI file make sure the placed file doesn’t have a conflicting color profile embedded. Here my background is a PSD image with US Web Coated embedded, but my InDesign file has US Web Uncoated assigned as the document profile, so the appearance of the ID native color is different than the image color:

 

 

If I set the InDesign assigned profile to match the placed image’s profile the color appearances match:

I’m checking in CC2020, but the background frame’s CMYK fill is 14|94|84|4, but the text fill is 24|90|90|20.
