I have added a new Mac device to my CC plan. None of the Adobe fonts are sycing (I’ve tried toggling fonts on and off in the CC app) and all my Indesign files look like the attached (grayed out) Ive done right-click and open with and it is still not recognizing the file type. Any suggestions?

    Hi @Faith5C32,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Could you please confirm the version of InDesign and which macOS version you're currently using? For the font sync issue, please try signing out of the Creative Cloud app, restarting your machine, and then signing back in to see if the fonts begin syncing properly. Also, please make sure the fonts are activated correctly in the Creative Cloud app. You can refer to this guide for help: https://adobe.ly/3POcBJh

If your InDesign files are still appearing grayed out, please check whether the fonts used in those files are activated. You can also go to Type > Find Font in InDesign to identify any missing fonts.

If the issue continues, please close all Adobe applications and remove InDesign, the Creative Cloud Desktop app, CCLibrary, and CoreSync using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool: https://adobe.ly/4mkYJCc. After that, reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app from here: https://adobe.ly/43fQrCS and then install InDesign again through it.

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

    Looking forward to your update.

    Abhishek
