Adobe Indesign 2026 Form button height extending a lot across the top of the button in Acrobat

Hi all,

Has anyone noticed a problem with form buttons in the new Indesign 26 when exported to Acrobat the buton have a good 5 mm rebate at the top. I have attached two versions of the pdf. If you click the Prepare Form of Acrobat you will the difference. The problem is that the button is now block the use of checkboxes on a dynamic form.

Known issue opening older files. I think the 21.0.1 update fixes this but if not, export the file to IDML and open that.

Thanks for the idea of exporting the file to IDML BobLevine,

Both InDesign v21.0.2 and v20.5.1 have issues when exporting to form. It does not follow the Set Tab Order, and both the radio button & Check Box become much taller when exported to PDF. Exporting the InDesign file to IDML, then using the IDML file to export PDF seem to fit these issues.
