Question

Adobe Products Don't Recognise Specific Italics

Hey all,

I'm having issues getting any Adobe products to recognise any italic variety of the typeface Favorit.

I'd already had some issues getting the italics properly installed, (Windows 10 showing the font isn't installed, but then claims it already exists when attempting to reinstall it) but now having done that, inDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop don't recognise that they're there.

I know they are installed on the system because they work in Wordpad, and are in the Fonts directory under control panel.

Obviously I've restarted all of the programs, and the computer. I've even removed the entire typefaces registry in regedit and deleted all copies of it from the fonts folder, and reinstalled.

Is there any reason InDesign wouldn't be able to recognise an italic, but Wordpad would? Any way to fix this?

    Hi Liam,

Sorry about the inconvenience caused. If the fonts are already installed on the system, please try these steps and let us know if this helps: Fonts are not currently available in InDesign

    Regards,
