I used to use this paticular font a lot, and now it is not available for me. Do anybody know why??? Please help 🙂

    Correct answer Steve Werner

What version of InDesign did you reinstall? Why did you reinstall? What operating system?

Fonts are never stored in InDesign files. InDesign only uses fonts which are stored in your operating system. There is no way for InDesign to remove a font.

I don't know if I can answer all of your questions, but I will try.

-I had to reinstall Indesign, because my computer was reinstall altogether.

    -Windows 7

-In Microsoft Word the font MAX is available.

-I don't think the font was installed local.

    Shot in the dark.

Was the font installed in InDesign/Fonts folder?

My thought too. That is the one circumstance Steve might have missed.

I am a bit reluctant to actually try this out and see what happens because I have lots of local fonts — Wait, I'm going to back the lot up somewhere now.
