Question

After system nap InDesign application window drops half way screen

Hi there!

When I fire up InDesign the application window appears at the aspected (normal) position on my screen. When I’m away for a while the system goes to sleep and the screen turns black. No problem so far.

But every time when I wake the system the ID-application window has dropped half way the screen. So I reposition the ID-screen, but after another system nap gravity does the same job again to this window. 😉
This happens when the option Application window is on or off.

This is only noticable within InDesign. Illustrator and Photoshop work fine.

Does anyone has a solution to this problem?

A known issue. I assume you're on a Silicon Mac with external monitor? Normally, it's enough to just click the green button to bring the shifted window back (whether you're using application frame or not).

ThnX for the reply.

In the signature of my openings message you can read the soft- and hardware which I'm using.

I was looking more for an answer to this problem in stead of the symptom relief you are mentioning.

Yeah I missed your signature somehow...

There's no solution as far as I know.
