Was soll das Ganze?

I have been re-installing CS6 on new computers for a number of years now, though not in the last two years. What has worked for me in the past is to run the installer, then overwrite the program folder with an archive copy from a backup of the last fully patched install.

The only problem with that is if the old computer died.

not exactly. If you have an image of a working install you shouldn’t need the old machine (or at least I haven’t since Creative Cloud came out -- re-installed on at least two completely new machines).

In addition to what others have already said:

We purchased a perpetual license (for a lot of money) which we should be able to use permanently and without restrictions.

“Permanent” doesn’t mean “eternal”. It only means that your license was not subscription-based and that you can use it without additional payments for as long as the product is supported.

Okay, thank you very much. It is absolutely outrageous that a software vendor would simply wash their hands of support and leave it up to other users to handle. After this stunt, every piece of Adobe software is getting tossed out of our organization, and its use will be strictly prohibited—even if it hurts a bit at first. We will not put up with this kind of arrogance from that company. Let them go rip off other people in the future—the ones who are actually willing to put up with it.

I understand your frustration but CS6 is now 14 years old and is not supported to run on any new computer. Your chances of being able to continue using it are practically zero at this point unless you can fix the old computer.

I know that’s not what you want to hear but there is nobody here that can help you with this.

Hello,We hold a contract—now 14 years old—for the use of the software, which remains valid. We adhere to this contract and demand that you enable us to continue using the software for which we have paid. We wish to emphasize clearly that we insist upon the fulfillment of this valid contract. We hereby set a deadline of one week. Should this not be met, we will be compelled to take legal action. Sincerely,Steffen KolbeHead of ITCity of Lauchhammer

This is a user community not a direct line to Adobe. I wish you luck but my personal advice is to find an alternative software.
