All of a sudden, InDesign isn't performing like it used to

So I recently moved into a different office where I work. I didn't change any settings or preferences on my computer, just physically moved it to a different room. I'm on an iMac. I'm not sure if there's a connection, but ever since I've moved, InDesign either acts very slow or crashes altogether. I've never had issues until about a week ago. I've cleaned my caches and any junk files but it doesn't fix the performance issue. Any possibilities/fixes?

Hi @Reba25263827dnj5 ,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the suggestions shared by Peter, as one of the possible reasons could be network connectivity issues if the files are stored on a network location. Once you have checked and if it is still working slowly, you can also try the steps shared here and let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Thanks

could be network connectivity if your files are stored remotely.

My office has a server I can only access when I'm in the building.

OK, that's remote. Using WiFi or wired connection to server?

Do you have an IT department that can troubleshoot connectivity?
