In InDesign, how do I anchor a text box to the bottom left corner of a photo? And then, furthermore get that anchor to be applied to all text boxes with that style to the photo it is currently onto of.  This is for a caption for the photo. I have around 300 photos with this style caption on it. I would like it to be automatic if possible.

  1. Create a Paragraph Style for the caption.
  2. Create an Object Style, where you can position the text (top/down, offset), choose the Paragraph Style there, ignore text wrap might be useful for you.
  3. Either use automatic captions when importing images or write the text in a text frame, apply the object style and align it with the image.

You can either anchor the image (make it also with an object style) in the text, or group caption text frame with image if the text has to be above the image.
