Animation on other page

I am using InDesign CC (2017) and am just getting a handle on using animations. One thing is bothering me. I've published my first document online and did so as single pages, but when I view them, the animation on the sister page still can be seen. For instance, I have news on the left page with some minor photo animation, but I have an ad on the right page that I have animated. Its animation sometimes interferes with the view of the elements on the left-hand page. In other words, as I'm viewing the left page and vice versa, I can see the animated elements intruding on the other page.

Can I just have each page be seen isolated?

On a copy of the original file:

File > Document Setup > uncheck Facing Pages

These suggestions solved the problems, thanks. But now the order of animation has been compromised On some pages. That's odd.

That's why you are working on a copy. You will have to review each page now to make sure everything is working as expected after the switch.

    Sister page?

Did you work in spreads? If so, I've seen some funky behavior in the past when they get combined into a single page. You may be better off copy pasting to a new single page layout.

Thanks. I do work in spreads because, first and foremost, this is a print publication and must be set up that way. But I exported it as single pages. Is it possible to convert to single page layout after the document is completed?
