Anyone know how to crop videos in indesign using the blue frame

Any tricks on how to crop an indesign video? I can do it on indesign no problem, however what happens is when I export to PDF interactive the video works, its just the crop never works...

Also, can anyone help with making videos play perfectly in PDF interactive

For the record, I cant publish online with this document I am required to produce a PDF interactive instead

The video itself will need cropped, and this can be done with video utilities like Quicktime.

While you may be able to place this cropped video into ID document, and export interactive PDF, this may not be the approach and may want to consider other methods.

The only workaround with an Interactive PDF is to include a hyperlink to an externally hosted video on Youtube or similar.

The alternative is in5, an InDesign plugin (at extra cost), which produces HTM5 format documents.

You will never get this to work properly. You might get a video to play in some PDF readers but that's a big if and there is no way to mask a video in PDF.
