Apply Master Margins to Pages

When I apply a new mast to a page the content does not move to align with the Margin set up in the master.  Is there a way to set up content so that it aligns with a margin (or both margins), no scaling, when the master is changes.

Assuming you are using InDesign CS 6 or InDesign CC, you should use primary text frames and they will work the way you want:

Can images and multiple text boxes all go into the primary text frames and move as needed?  Our issue is that we have two layouts one for a left facing page and one for a right facing page.

Don't know if you are generally aware of Enable Layout Adjustment. Suppose you are in the master pages, and you go to the Layout menu and choose margins and columns. If you also turn on Enable Layout Adjustment, then you can proceed to change margins and columns and any frames that touch the existing margin and column guides (on pages that use that master page) will move themselves to match the new position of margins and column guides.

Predesigning multiple master pages and their margins, columns, and grid/guide lines is such an important concept to begin a project with. It opens up the possibility of less painful redesign later on in the production cycle.
