Apply stroke on one corner of a text frame

Hi,

I have recently started working with Indesign, having had much experience with Microsoft Word.

One thing, which was not mentioned there was, we have to apply this method to strokes only (not to the whole object).

For this we need to go to:

Window > Effects > Select 'stroke'

And then apply the trick above.

I don't like this approach as it adds 'transparency' to the page - and as a print guy it sends shivers up my spine.

There are other options

Instead of a Text Frame - you can use a Table - and the table can be stroked independently on all sides

And with new features - you can use Paragraph Borders - even rounding corners
