ApplyDataOnWidget not called

Sorry, posted it too early..

I am facing the same problem as discussed here:

ApplyDataToWidget() of TreeView not getting called

I did not understand what solved the issues and I would have two questions.

1) What could cause this?

2) Is there a way to debug this?
