Thanks for bringing this up. I hope Manan's suggestion helped resolve the issue. If the Arabic numbers are still appearing flipped after placing the text from Word into InDesign, please double-check that the text direction is set to Right-to-Left, and that you’re using the 'Adobe World-Ready Paragraph Composer' in the Paragraph panel.

Could you also let me know which version of InDesign and OS you're working on? And does this happen with all Word documents or just a specific one? If possible, sharing a sample file along with a screenshot showing the issue would really help us dig deeper and consult the team if needed.

Not sure if this will solve but did you check the Paragraph Composer and the text direction property?
