Arching Text in In-Design

Is there a way to arch text in In-Design in a similar to how Illustrator allows you to  arch text thru its Envelope Distort feature? (If not, it would sure be handy if a feature like that coule be added to In-Design) Thanks.

Hi @MattWilbert.com,

Thanks for bringing this up. InDesign doesn’t include an Envelope Distort feature like Illustrator, so the best option is to create the arched text in Illustrator and then place it in InDesign.

I agree this would be a useful feature, and I’d recommend adding it as a request on UserVoice (https://adobe.ly/4mocFKm) so the team can track and prioritize it. Feel free to drop the Uservoice link here in the thread so that others can upvote it.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
