Question

Auto Frame and content fitting

Hello,

I am working on a 100+page document in indesign and needed to change it from 8x11 to 5.5x8.25. I was able to make the adjustment; however, the content is the incorrect size. Is there a way to auto apply the content frame setting and also have the content fit to the frame, without going to each page to adjust frame size and then select content fit? Just wondering if I can make it easier on myself.

Thank you for any help.

Is the page content the wrong size or is the document page size wrong? The latter can be adjusted in File > Document Setup

Here is the screenshot. Is there a faster way to apply the size and fitting than manually in each image?

How did you approach the change? Did you try File > Adjust Layout?

You should expect to tweak a lot of things manually, however.

Yes, File>Adjust Layout. I also checked adjust locked content and auto adjust margins. When I would go to export PDF, it was saving to 5.83x8.27. When I finally checked the page properties, it was the same and not 5.5x8.25, no bleed or crop.
