Question

auto linked flows

Hello, I did a brief search but couldn't find anything.

I would like to create an endless flow in my document, from page 1 to page (let's say) 40. So I can write pretty much like Word or Pages.

It's something I've already done in the past with a previous manual, so I'm sure it can be done, tho I have not access to that file anymore and I can't remember how to do that.

I don't want to create another text frame everytime I create a new page, there must be a better way to do that.

Any help?

Yes, as the prior answer and link should help explain, it's entirely possible to use ID as a "word processor" — I have written several books right in it, with much the same functionality as Word.

It is better for highly styled and formatted layouts, though — if you are working mostly with flowing text, Word is a much better "writing" tool that can be configured to simulate a formatted layout. Be sure to make meticulous use of styles, both Paragraph and Character, regardless of which tool you use, especially if you will be pulling a Word doc into ID.
