Auto-populating page numbers when every page is a master page

Hello! I'm in a time crunch so I know the best answer is probably start over and do it correctly. However, my question is around whether I can automatically add page numbers (in the proper place) in a 60 page book where every page was formatted as a master page.

I think it'll take longer to redesign so there's only 1-2 master pages and then the rest document pages, but also don't want to manually input page numbers and not have the spacing and positioning stamdard throughout.

Please advise!

It shouldn't actually take that long to do this correctly:

Use Ctrl/Cmd+J to navigate to the first master page spread
Ctrl/Cmd+A (Edit > Select All)
Use Ctrl/Cmd J to navigate to the first body page spread
Ctrl+Sh+Alt+V/Cmd+Sh+Opt+V (Edit > Paste in Place)
Repeat until complete

I could probably move 3 spreads in a minute—let's say you only move 1 spread per minue—you will be done in a hour. And your file will be set up correctly.
