Autocorrect does not work in Indesign 2022 (17.0) on Catalina 10.15.7

Autocorrect is activated in preferences but is not applied to the documents.

If i open same documents in Indesign 2021 autocorrect does in fact work.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I'd request you to update your app to the latest version(v17.0.1) & let us know if your issue is resolved.

You may also try resetting the preferences of the app & see if that helps.
