Automatic picture and text import

Question

Is there any script or other way to generate an indesign file consisting of multiple pages with one image and one name on each page? I need a document with about 2.000 pages with a picture and a name on each page. 2.000 identic pages with 2.000 different pictures and 2.000 different names. Ik know how to connect the names but is that possible with pictures?

You can use DataMerge to add images in the same way you add names. You add a field for the path to each image you want to link. The field name heading for the image paths must start with an @ symbol.

If the images are in the same folder as the data file you can truncate the path to just the filenames, but if they are not you must use the full path.
