Question

Automatically bring up specific panel combinations? The Adobe context menu needs improvement.

When our cursor is in a table, we definitely want to manipulate the table, and here we should call up the table's panels, but we don't.

It would be nice to be able to set up panels to bring up custom combinations.

You have lots of unique ideas - however, posting in the forum is not the place that they get the attention they deserve.

Feature requests should be sent here

https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601021-adobe-indesign-feature-requests

If you want feedback here for this idea:
I wouldn't want panels randomly opening when I select a table or cells in a table, I may not want this panel to open and simply be pasting in information, copying data, or other situations.

For the record, I disabled the contextual menu in ALL Adobe apps - general feedback for the contextual menu from a lot of users was that it's intrusive and they didn't want panels randomly open.

Some liked it - some didn't.

You can always make your own Shortcuts that open panels when you need them and they can be based on Context too - so you could create a custom keyboard shortcut that only works when you are editing a table.

I've always thought indesign.uservoice.com was a waste of a site.
99.99% of it is nowhere to be found. Because no one is dedicated to him, and I don't know if they understand it or not.
Here, one might still find a confidant, or at least communicate.

It's the official space to request new features and request bugs.

If it's not there then it won't be considered.
