Backspace and Del not working in Edit

I am using Acrobat Pro DC and I am unable to delete text from a document I am editing.

...as well as understanding that Acrobat is for very minimal editing of PDFs — just touchup and minor redaction, really. It's only an editable format by courtesy, not an alternative to Word/InDesign/etc.

This is the InDesign forum. InDesign cannot edit PDF files. You should be asking this in the Acrobat forum here:
