Hi, everyone.

I have a problem with Publish Online that I´ve searched all over the web and still didn´t find an answer. I am uploading a few ePubs from InDesign CC to Adobe Publish Online with the DOWNLOAD PDF option enabled. However, when someone tries to download the file, the browser opens a new tab with a the message Bad Request displayed. I´ve tryed different browsers, and even desabled my antivirus when uploading the ePubs, but still didn´t work. Can someone help me, please?

Had the same problem and figured out. Adobe didn't like special characters in the filename - mine were the square brackets '[ ]'. This is because it took the indd filename and created and uploaded a pdf with the same name to the publish dashboard - which had the bad characters (Could see this from the url). Closing the indd doc and removing the characters then republishing solved the problem for me.

Amazing thank you, I also had square brackets and didn't even realise it was creating a problem.

Hi Fellipe,

Can you publish the Publish Online link? Like to see if this is an individual case, or some kind of bug.

Thanks

How do you upload an ePub to Publish Online?

Hi Fellipe,

Sorry to hear about this issue. Bad Request is a general error when internet connection cannot access any link. There could be multiple reasons behind that. Did you check if the link works in safe mode? Is it happening with this particular file or with multiple files? As Diane said it would be a great help if you can share a sample link so that we can try to open it at our end.

Regards,

Srishti

Would you mind sharing your Publish Online URL? Then we can check it and perhaps be of help.

Thanks
