Base Files - Location change

Morning all, one of my Adobe users stores various pieces of artwork in his OneDrive folder, then links them to various InDesign documents he creates.

When the base file is modified, it's automatically updated wherever it's used (sorry, this is all new to me!)

The problem is, as a business, we're moving from OneDrive to GoogleDrive. This will break all of the links he has between his art & the artwork designs.

Is there a way to make this transition easier, or is it just a case of manually changing the base file location each time the file opens?
