Black changing from 100% to 91% when exporting PDF

how are you determining that the PDF is 91% black? what colour profile are you using in Acrobats Output Preview? Have you tried “Decalibrating” your PDF (in Acrobat) or possibly exporting without a colour profile.

This appears to be similar to this post - however, I haven’t found something that works,

Did you set both your On Screen and Printing/Exporting Appearance of Black to All Blacks as Rich Black before you export?

Also, Is the problem in the PDF’s display, or the actual print output? Printing inks are somewhat transparent, so the appearance of 100% Back only would almost always be less black than Black + CMY.

So in the thread you have linked, the person is printing to PDF, but you are exporting, right?

Can you post a screenshot of your color settings when exporting?

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you're running into this issue. Based on your description, it sounds similar to a previously discussed color management behavior. I'd recommend trying the suggestions mentioned in the following thread and letting us know if they help:

If the issue still persists after trying those suggestions, please share your PDF export settings (particularly the Output tab) along with a screenshot of your Edit > Color Settings dialog.
