book panel auto renumering

hi,
i dont' knwo what the issue is.
 
I have several documents in my book panel:

and i have the same setting on all of them:

i however can't get the page numbers to renumber

Obviously, the page numbering is not set up correctly. The best and quickest way to see the problem is to look at the actual files (your priviate content is not important).

well.. i think i got it to work.. if i select the first page for every layout and go back to the numbering section it show that is not set to auto number:

i checked to auto number and it works! a bug i think. i been using this file as a template every year.

What are the settings in your Book panel?

I usually turn automatic numbering off, so my other documents don't start shuffling as soon as I add a page.

That way, I can update the numbering when I am ready to do it
