Boxes shift slightly when selecting them with trackpad on Mac.

Frequently, when I try to select text boxes and object boxes or contents using my trackpad on my Mac, they shift slightly; so I'm hitting undo all day long. I'm not sure if it's a Mac issue or an Adobe issue, but it's been going on for months, and it's pretty irritating. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
