Bug Issue for Auto Size text frame

Question

I drew a text frame and turned on the auto sizing to horizontal and vertical with no line breaks. I began typing and things are not working as planned, no matter which reference point I use for sizing. This happens with more than 2 lines in a text frame. As you type in the text frame, you can see the box jump to a wider size and then get smaller and then large again.

I am using ID 17.4x64 on a Dell Precision 5570 with Windows 10.

Hi @m quiggl47890392 ,I see the same. Also with previous versions of InDesign.InDesign 2022 version 17.4.0 on Windows 10. Best do a bug report at InDesign UserVoice:https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs I'd do a screen recording of the issue and attach it to the report.When done with the report, please post the URL of the report here so that others could easily find it and can vote for a fix.
