Buttons at bottom of pages panel unclickable since update (Oct 2024)

Hi

Frustratringly I can't click to add or delete pages at the bottom of the pages panel as all the buttons are hidden by the summary overlay. No matter what I do (i.e. rescaling the window etc) the issue remains.

This has literally only just happened since the update - which btw, you seem to force us to use as the previous app edition always disappears from my sidebar.

My previous issue raised in another discussion thread is STILL happening. Literally just done it again - where the work on my pasteboard just disappears from sight.

See below for visual reference of issues:

Having the same issue! So dumb - I can't get rid of it. Working in stoneage times trying to access the trash can.

What version of InDesign? What operating system? If Mac, are you fully updated? Do you have Magnet installed? If so, uninstall it.

Try general troubleshooting steps; sometimes it fixes unusual UI issues:

Regarding the updates:

First, disable auto-update in the Creative Cloud app.

Second, when you manually upgrade your apps, uncheck the option to remove existing versions.

Btw, you can still install InDesign 2024 from the Creative Cloud app as a separate installation.

Hello @CarolynJL14,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind temporarily switching to the default resolution/scaling in the OS settings and in User Interface scaling under InDesign's preferences to check if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
