Question

Can docs shared using digital publisher be seen by wider community? (Confidentiality issues)

Hi there,

I would like to start using digital publisher in order to share interactive InDesign reports with people who do not have e-pub readers.

However, the information I'm sharing is confidential so my question is, can everyone on adobe see my report or just the people who have received my URL?

Also, can anyone explain if there is anyway of saving files onto creative cloud between my colleague and I only?

I'm new to InDesign and have a license through the company I work for.

Juliette

Moved to InDesign forum.

Anyone with the URL can view Publish Online documents. There is no way to protect them.

Not sure what you mean about sharing the documents. Put them in a Dropbox folder, OneDrive folder, Creative Cloud folder or a network drive if you're in the same location.

Thanks so much for your response!

Apologies, I'm only new to InDesign and get a bit confused with everything

So, only the people who have received the URL can view the doc (nobody else unless they share that URL)?

I also read that the people I share the URL with have the option to download it to PDF but do all the interactive features still show in the pdf if they don't have an e-pub reader like ibook?

I will get a OneDrive folder to share the InDesign docs as it seems to be the easiest - thank you!

The PDF that can be downloaded is static. Interactive PDF does not support most of what Publish Online does.
