I currently have three versions of indesign (15.02 14.03 and 13.01)   Can I delete the older programs and reduce hard drive space?   Is there a reason all three show up on my adobe cloud as installed programs?

While updating an app (major version update) you can choose whether to keep the old version or remove it. See the following article

Yes, you can certainly remove the ones you no longer use. I typically keep the last two versions of each app installed, but routinely remove any older than that.

Just uninstall the versions you don't want via the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app.
