Can I package through applications?

I would like to package an InDesign project so that it packages the contained Illustrator files, but I would also like the Photoshop files and other assets that make up these Illustrator files to be packaged individually as well. Does anyone know if this is possible?

If you are using a version of Illustrator since CS6 you can run a package within Illustrator (found under the File menu) and include the links folder created there with the one that you will create running Package in InDesign. InDesign on its own will not collect any graphics or assets that have been linked into the Illustrator files.
