can not move elements to other layers

since the last update to indesign cc 2017 i can not move elements to other layers.

normaly there is a point in color of the layer color on the right side in the layer menu when an object is selected. this point has disappeared. i can not move anything anymore to another layer.

can someone help? thank you.
