I'm just trying to understand why indesign doesnt have a thumbnail when you view it in the file folder in windows. Every other adobe program can handle this simple task but indesign doesnt? I really need this to work.

You need to ask program questions in the forum for the program you are using

You're right, thanks Peter. Bridge is the only way to preview it I've found to, just isn't automatic and was hoping there was something I was just missing. I'm giving up on this one, thank you for your help though.

Let me move this to the InDesign forum for you, which is the appropriate forum for your question.

The Using the Community forum is for help in using the Adobe Support Community forums, not for help with specific programs. Product questions should be posted in the associated product community.
